Waiting on Wednesday (14)

Waiting On Wednesday was created by Jill over at Breaking The Spine. It's a weekly post for you to share what upcoming books you can't wait for!

I'm really looking forward to 13 to Life by Shannon Delaney which will be out June 22nd 2010

Synopsis
When junior Jess Gillmansen gets called out of class by Guidance, she can only presume it’s for one of two reasons. Either they’ve finally figured out who wrote the scathing anti-jock editorial in the school newspaper or they’re hosting yet another intervention for her about her mom. Although far from expecting it, she’s relieved to discover Guidance just wants her to show a new student around—but he comes with issues of his own including a police escort.
The newest member of Junction High, Pietr Rusakova has secrets to hide--secrets that will bring big trouble to the small town of Junction—secrets including dramatic changes he’s undergoing that will surely end his life early.

Torment by Lauren Kate is coming out in September 2010.  Torment is the second book in the Fallen series.  I love this cover!

Synopsis
How many lives do you need to live before you find someone worth dying for? In the aftermath of what happened at "Sword & Cross", Luce has been hidden away by her angelic boyfriend, Daniel, in a new school filled with Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans. Daniel promises she will be safe here, protected from those who would kill her. At the school Luce discovers what the Shadows that have followed her all her life mean - and how to manipulate them to see into her other lives. Yet the more Luce learns about herself, the more she realizes that the past is her only key to unlocking her future - and that Daniel hasn't told her everything. What if his version of the past isn't actually the way things happened ...What if Luce was really meant to be with someone else?

So those are my picks this week.  What are yours?
