Waiting on Wednesday (17)

Waiting On Wednesday was created by Jill over at Breaking The Spine. It's a weekly post for you to share what upcoming books you can't wait for!

This week I've picked a couple.  First one up is Extraordinary by Nancy Werlin.  Release date is 7th September 2010.  I just absolutely love this cover!!

Phoebe finds herself drawn to Mallory, the strange and secretive new kid in school, and the two girls become as close as sisters . . . until Mallory's magnetic older brother, Ryland, shows up during their junior year. Ryland has an immediate, exciting hold on Phoebe, but a dangerous hold, for she begins to question her feelings about her best friend and, worse, about herself. Soon she'll discover the shocking truth about Ryland and Mallory: that these two are visitors from the faerie realm who have come to collect on an age-old debt. Generations ago, the faerie queen promised Pheobe's ancestor five extraordinary sons in exchange for the sacrifice of one ordinary female heir. But in hundreds of years there hasn't been a single ordinary girl in the family, and now the faeries are dying. Could Phoebe be the first ordinary one? Could she save the faeries, or is she special enough to save herself?

My second pick for this week is Choker by Elizabeth Woods.  This one's not out until the 4th January 2011 and I really can't wait.

You can never be sure who you can trust, even your best friend. A new thriller!

That's all I have on this one but it sounds good!!

Okay that's my Waiting on Wednesday for this week!  What did you get?

  1. Great picks I cant wait to read Extraordinary, I loved Nancy's other book I read...this one looks good as well!

  2. Great choices! I’m excited about Extraordinary as well. Choker isn’t a book I’d heard of before. It sounds good too!

  3. I've never head of Extraordinary before and it sounds great! Added to my TBR!

  4. O me too! I really liked Impossible, so I'm anxious to try something else by NW :)
